Our beginner’s course consists of 3 x 1.5-hour classes, designed to introduce you to the fundamental techniques of Judo in a safe and supportive environment.
- Limited to 12 participants per class – ensuring quality instruction
- Eligible for your first grading (Yellow Belt) after completion

How Much Does it Cost?

What do I need to bring?
- Loose sportswear (T-shirt & tracksuit pants recommended), all classes are barefoot (please NO rush guard, mouth guard or hear gear)
- Water bottle – Stay hydrated!
- Towel – Be ready to sweat!

Do I need a Judo uniform (Judogi)?
No, you do not need one for the first 3 weeks. However, if you have one, bring it! If you’d like to purchase a club Judogi:
- White Judogi: $150
- Blue Judogi: $160
Do I need to be fit to start Judo?
No! Judo will help get you fit – just show up and start learning.
Do I need to be big or strong?
No! Judo is about technique over strength. You’ll learn to adapt to different opponent sizes and use leverage to your advantage.
Do I have to compete?
No, Judo has many different paths – self-defense, fitness, grading, and competition. However, experiencing competitive Judo is highly recommended, as it enhances your learning and skills.
